And we are off! After receiving dozens of applications for our first Genuine Food Lab trip we are pleased to announce that we have made the following selection of participants from around the world. Our researchers come from a wide variety of ages, backgrounds and experiences with plenty of passion to study food and all its intricacies.
Focusing on just the little known but culturally rich prefecture of Mie, we will be seeking to uncover as a group the wisdom and traditions behind Japanese food culture. Our two weeks in Japan will be brief, but we hope a way into a unique food system that will then be shared by our international researchers at the Milano Expo this year.
We will be in Mie from the 10th till the 23rd of March 2015 to study and uncover genuine Japanese food culture followed subsequently by lessons and workshops during the Expo from May till October 2015. Our Expo program will be published shortly.
